Latvian Point of Single Contact (PSC) is  e-government portal www.latvija.lv that allow service providers to get the information they need and complete administrative procedures online.

Product Contact Point (PCP)

 

Latvian Product Contact Point provides information in response to queries related to the national technical rules, national administrative procedures applicable to specific goods, requirements for placing a product on the market or the mutual recognition of goods.

PCP Latvia also encompasses the Product Contact Point for Construction (PCPC).  It is provided by the Ministry of Economics established under the Construction Products Regulation (EU) No 305/2011. It provides a reliable and precise information free of charge on rules applicable to the incorporation, assembling or installation of a specific type of construction product. It also provides information about provisions aimed at fulfilling basic requirements for construction works applicable to the intended use of each construction product in the territory of a Member State. Enterprise Europe Network (EEN)
 

EEN is the largest business and innovation support contact point providing practical information on specific questions from entrepreneurs about EU matters, focusing on SMEs.

Assistance services

Alternative dispute solving mechanism (SOLVIT)
 

SOLVIT can help to solve problems, if institutions of the European Economic Zone (EU Member-states, Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein) do not comply with EU regulations.

 

A complaint can be filed to SOLVIT in case:

  • your or your company’s EU rights have been breached
  • a state institution has taken a decision that does not comply with EU regulations
  • a violation has occurred in another EEZ state.

 

SOLVIT can help to find solutions regarding recognition of professional qualification, mutual recognition of products, freedom of doing business, posting of workers, unfair conditions in state tenders, etc.

European Consumer network (ECC-NET)
 

European consumer information centre (ECC Latvia) ensures protection of consumer rights when disputes between consumers and businesses arises regarding purchases in EU Member-state, Norway or Iceland.

 

You may contact ECC Latvia, if you have problems or questions regarding:
