The main question Conference addresses is - How can cooperation boost the COMPetitiveness of SME’s speed up their INTERnationalization and drive the INNOvations?
 

During 3 interactive sessions: COMP, INTER and INNO, attenders will have opportunity to hear international and local experts’ perspectives of SME’s collaboration promotion and practical examples of SME’s collaboration projects.
 

Conference will be opened by the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Economics of the Republic of Latvia – Arvils Aseradens.
 

The main speaker in session COMP will be world-class expert of clusters and competitiveness - Dr. Christian Ketels. He is a member of the Harvard Business School faculty at the Institute for Strategy and Competitiveness, holds a PhD in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and is a president of TCI network. The session will be followed by the adviser to the Minister for Economics of the Republic of Latvia Kaspars Berzins and clusters internationalization expert Kaspar Nielsen (Cluster excellence Denmark).
 

In the afternoon sessions INTER and INNO, audience will be introduced with practical examples of collaboration among various enterprises and sectors.
 

Nevertheless, in the Pop-up Demo centre the products and the results of SME’s collaboration projects will be demonstrated practically.
 

Conference is organized by the Ministry of Economics within the implementation of Interreg Europe program project Clusters3 and ERDF “Competence Centre management project”, and in cooperation with Nordic council of ministers.
