This is the 15th year of the “Most Energy-Efficient Building in Latvia” competition, organized as part of the “Live Warmer” campaign. The competition promotes best practices in energy efficiency and sustainability in building construction, renovation, and reconstruction—reducing greenhouse gas emissions and increasing public awareness of well-being, building insulation, indoor climate, and the significance and possibilities of emission reduction in creating a high-quality, architecturally expressive living environment.
Applications for the 2025 competition could be submitted until June 18, 2025. During the summer, the jury will evaluate all submissions, decide which buildings will proceed to the second round, and conduct on-site inspections. The awards ceremony for the winners is scheduled for September 2025.
