Informācija par semināru

The Central Finance and Contracting Agency (CFLA) has announced an open project call, once again inviting companies to apply for European Union (EU) funding to develop innovative technologies and products that can be used both for civilian purposes and to strengthen the country’s defence and security capabilities. The available EU fund support for project implementation is €13.2 million.

Latvian companies have the opportunity to attract European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) financing for industrial research, experimental development, technical and economic feasibility studies, as well as sectoral expertise in market and technology research, in order to develop new or significantly improved technologies and products, and to obtain patents and other intangible assets.

Projects with a high technology readiness level are eligible for support, thereby promoting rapid commercialisation and making a significant contribution to strengthening national defence and security capabilities.

Grants available per company range from €200,000 to €1,000,000, while new companies may receive up to €300,000. The programme provides simplified conditions for new companies.

For this call, the ERDF financing available for project implementation is €13,207,175, along with national co‑financing of €2,330,678.

Project applications will be accepted by CFLA until 19 January 2026, and the implementation period for projects is set until the end of 2029. The project selection documentation is published on the CFLA website: cfla.gov.lv.
