From the 23rd of November till the 26th of November 2020 the Ministry of Economics will organise an international Innovation Laboratory for policy makers, civil society, and industry representatives “Building and strengthening institutional capacity to support companies in financial difficulties in Baltic States and Poland”. The event is organised under the “RestartBSR” project of the Interreg Baltic Sea transnational cooperation programme.

 

The goal of the event is to better understand the political and social impacts of distress, and difficulty and bankruptcy experience on entrepreneurs in the Baltic States and Poland and develop recommendations how we can improve policy to support SMEs in the Baltic States and Poland. Other countries are welcome to benefit from experiences and tools will be introduced in the laboratory.

 

On the 23rd of November 2020 at 13:00 Opening of innovation laboratory (link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89518588179?pwd=Ly9SNEkxVTQzeWl2cmNPT091TGJnZz09 ) - introduction of Restart BSR project and the results of the study “The best European support, early warning and second-chance systems transferability  in the Baltic Sea region countries”.

 

On the 24th  and 25th of November 2020 separate workshops for policy makers from Poland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia – elaboration of recommendations for policy makers.

 

On the 26th of November 2020 at 9:00 Closing of the Innovation Laboratory (link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83547119602?pwd=ZmxwYndSSzRzTjVVOVJaN2htUFdQZz09) – introduction to the recommendations made in workshops on 24-25 and discussions.
