According to Cabinet Regulation No.597 adopted 25 September 2018 “Procedure for Calculation and Reporting of Transport Energy Life Cycle Greenhouse Gas Emissions Amount and Reductions” certain fuel suppliers must ensure that, as of 31 December 2020, the life cycle greenhouse gas (GHG) emission intensity of the transport energy they supply is 6% lower than the set basic fuel standard of 94.1 grams of carbon dioxide equivalent in relation to energy unit in megajoules.
